ラボガール / Girls in the Lab.

　同人誌「理科系の女たち」の表紙と裏表紙のイラストです。中綴じのコピー本にしたので横長の一枚絵を描いて表紙と裏表紙にしました。昔働いていた研究所のラボを思い出しながら描きましたが、純粋装置のタンクと採水機がつながっていないという致命的なミスをしてしまいました…。こういう室内のこまごまとしたものを描くのは一種の人形遊びのような気分になり楽しいですね。

The cover illustration of self- published comics "The Girls of Science". I draw a horizonal picture because this book was saddle-stitched, and used on the cover and the back cover. I had drawn this picture remembering the laboratory where I used to work in, but I forgot to draw the pipe that connects the pure water server's tank to the handle…a fatal mistake. I have fun to imagine and draw such detail interior of a room, it is a kind of making a diorama.
