I decided to apply for one of the projects that UNHCR provided for youth all over the world to draw in solidarity with refugees aimed the pandemic.UNHCR had launched the description of this project by saying that this contest encourages young people aged 12-25 to reflect creatively on the theme: “everyone counts in the fight against the virus, including refugees.” I submitted this picture I colored from a black and white sheets which written by Kensuke Miyagi, a Japanese wall painter who walks around the world such as Kenya, Ukraina, Ecuador to complete a project called "All Over The Wall". This time he painted on the wall of Gido Badales National Hospital in East Timor by talking with doctores, nurses, patients, children, neighbors made all full of smile. Here is the message “The same sun is always drawn in the pictures from the All over the Wall project. If you look up the sky, you will see the sun is rising in the sky. The same sun is actually rising in Japan, America, Europe, and Africa and you can feel the world is all connected. Many people around the world are suffering from the COVID disease right now and many people cannot go to school or work by staying at home. Maybe you are one of them. But you may be able to make someone smile by drawing some bright pictures and cheer up people from different countries!”
