Drawing Cherry Blossoms

I drew handwritten new years cards as a communication tool to properly express gratitude to those who helped me through the year. This new years card plays a very important role if we define communication as a process which to create relationships with others, and media as the place to makes it possible. In today's society, various things are regarded as mediaand especially because social network services became rapidly popular in society, the trend brought us to just simply send only one text of saying "Happy New Year." This is why I thought that sending a hand drawn cards could allow me to express the appreciation toward people I want to thank. A similar situation is also depicted in one of the most inspiring French literatures named “La Peste” published by Albert Camus. When the plague disease pandemic happened in the story and everyone was locked down in the city, those residents were only allowed to send simple texts by using telegrams saying “I am doing ok, how are you”. However, the character named Grant, he is an artist, was depicted as he continued to search for warmhearted words and strive to write the perfect sentence on paper even he was in such a circumstance.
