大阪市在住、イタリア出身。 子供の頃からアニメやマンガが好きで、高校時代に European Manga Academy の Manga Summer School を受講し、18歳の時には同校が主催するマンガ短期講座に参加して、東京の代々木アニメーション学院で3週間マンガの技術を学ぶ。 高校卒業後はヴェネツィア・カ・フォスカリ大学で日本語を専攻し、卒業後に日本へ移住。大阪ではキャラクターデザインの職業訓練を受講し、デジタルイラストの知識をさらに深めた。 Hi! My name is Marilena, and I’m an Italian artist based in Osaka. I’ve been passionate about anime and manga since childhood, so during high school, I attended the Manga Summer School course at the European Manga Academy for several summers. As soon as I turned 18, I participated in a three-week course in Japan, organized by the same Academy, where I had the opportunity to study manga at Yoyogi Animation Gakuin in Tokyo. After high school, I pursued Japanese studies at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, and after graduating, I moved to Japan. In Osaka, I completed a professional course in character design, further deepening my knowledge of digital illustration.
