We live surrounded by the coercion of meaning—narratives, identity, and value. Every image is expected to “say something.” Pop Dada refuses this demand. It fuses the lineage of Dada with the surface aesthetics of pop, wielding nonsense, emptiness, and “cuteness” as its weapons. This is not an escape, but a form of critique. Meaning is not destroyed— it is exposed as unnecessary. Pop Dada transforms nihilism into play. It is a rebellion without weight.
