花火大会に来た人

「花火大会に自作花火を持ち込むドクトリン・ダーク」というイメージで描きました。そのままですね。浮世絵風にしたかったので衣装の一部を原作から変更しました。
浮世絵は多色刷り版画なので、レイヤーを分けて塗るデジタルと相性が良いような気がしてチャレンジしてみました。いつもはあまり多くレイヤーを作らないのですが、今回は版を意識してほぼ色ごとに分けています。背景と人物も別々に作成しました。最後に木目や紙質のテクスチャを合成し、完成作品になりました。

I've had an opinion that digital painting will be suitable for imitation of woodblocks multicolor printing, the technique of Ukiyo-e. So, I challenged. Usually, I don't make many layers, but this time I created them for almost all colors dividing each, as if woodblocks. Similarly, I painted the characters and backgrounds respectively. and it finished to combine textures of wood and paper.
