【Opening Song】Two constellations of swirling destinies
When I started writing this song, the first thing that came to mind was the stars shining in the night sky. I likened the main characters of the novel to constellations, each with their own unique brilliance. I superimposed the intertwining of their fates and the weaving of new stories on the drama of the sky woven by the constellations.
この曲を作り始めたとき、まず頭に浮かんだのは、夜空に輝く星々の姿でした。小説の主人公たちを、それぞれが独自の輝きを放つ星座に見立てたんです。彼らの運命が絡み合い、新たな物語を紡ぎ出していく様子を、星座が織りなす天空のドラマに重ね合わせました。
I tried to create a melody line that was both grandiose and delicate. I wanted to express the vastness of the universe, while at the same time depicting the delicate emotions of the two people. In particular, I tried to create a sense of excitement in the chorus section to express the elation of their fateful encounter.
メロディーラインは、壮大さと繊細さを両立させるよう心がけました。宇宙の広大さを表現しつつ、二人の繊細な感情も描き出したかったんです。特に、サビの部分では盛り上がりを持たせ、運命的な出会いの高揚感を表現しようとしました。
The phrase “You are my Andromeda” is used again in the lyrics. This is to indicate the progression of the story while maintaining continuity with the previous work. The phrase “two constellations of swirling destinies” indicates the growing depth and complexity of their relationship.

We chose a mixed English and Japanese lyrical structure because we wanted to express the universality and particularity of this story at the same time. I tried to express universal themes such as love and fate in English, and Japanese sentiment and delicacy in Japanese.
英語と日本語を混ぜた歌詞構成にしたのは、この物語の普遍性と特殊性を同時に表現したかったからです。恋愛や運命といった普遍的なテーマを英語で、日本的な情感や繊細さを日本語で表現しようと試みました。
The bridge section, “Look up love see our story written high,” evokes a grand image of their story being inscribed in the sky. At the same time, the lyrics “Cosmic dance no goodbye” suggest that their relationship will last forever.
