I'm no expert on anything , but I do put a lot of thoughts in this project that may look simple but actually hid details. And I wish to not just post this for someone to watch or listen, but to understand the soul behind, so I wanna share it here hehe.

Disclaimer first, I do vocal, simple mixing, and video editing for this. Illust is drawn by me but heavily inspired fr pinterest art by LK. Instrument is taken from YT from channel named "betelgeuse". Lyric comes from lyrical-nonsense while translation are from thejapanesepage.

So first, about the illust. I changed the color and flower. Color pallete are pale-ish creme, pastel. One bouquet flower just put carelessly on the table with white card, all to capture melancholic & desperate feeling. Btw I don't know what to write on the card so I just put "dry flower" there. Tho thinking again, I should just leave it blank to capture an "unspeakable" feeling. But yeah, too late hehe. Art inspiration is pretty relatable enough that I really don't have anymore insight to change, so I'm heavily referencing it.

Next is about the video editing. I put a lottttt of shadows and light. That's just how the insight I got to capture the feelings I want to show, and indeed that's right! Uuuuu I really love how the lights and shadow effects turned out at the end! ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

The idea basically "one bouquet of flower, once blooming but now dried and put alone inside a room, caged, separated from all the warm lights outside, leaving the shadows inside". So yeah I focused more on the "break up", not the "fading memory".

The first effect was a calm light (and shadows), it actually move but quite subtle, and with lighter color too. This is to build a starting point. As the song progress, I added more obvious light effects, capturing the more intense beat and more emotion.

1st light effect : Pretty calm

1st light effect : Pretty calm

1st + 2nd light : Not much different, just adding more light dots

The chorus part, I put a tree shadow (kinda want to connect with "dry flower" aka plant theme lol), as it looks more dramatic and beautiful eheheh. Then, at the end, I put a window shadow and sunset effect to capture a "closure" feeling.

Chorus part 1 : A strong shining effect to start the chorus part, telling a stronger feeling (or message) shown on these part of the song

Chorus part 2: Part "Dorai furawaa mitai". Added a high tree shadow, giving dreamy, far-reaching vibes. Also plant related like dry flower lol.

Last part : Window shadow to symbolize separation

Last part : Window shadow to symbolize separation

Window = cage/separation from outside Sunset = The end of the day Sooo it's closure hehe. And if anyone notice, the translation of lyric "fade" also faded slowly, to finally symbolize and emphasize memories that will slowly fades (I'm sad ueueueu).

Then for vocal, actually no comment as I'm still finding my voice. And I know I'm not good capturing feelings with my voice too ueueu. So I still need to improve a lot, I hope it didn't strain your ear. Also, thanks to this tutorial, I'm able to learn a lot as a real newbie mixer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvCCHQC6N0c&t=742s
