Facebook ”Salome“ Oil on Canvas 24.2cmx41.4cm 2020 This piece is based on the story of 'Salome' by the 19th century Irish writer Oscar Wilde. 'Salome' is the girl in the Bible who lead to the prophet John the Baptist being put to death. Oscar Wilde turned Salome into an opera, making her the epitome of the femme fatale, a woman who can derail a man's destiny.
