European photographer based in Riga, Latvia: magazines, motorsport, brands and expeditions created over more than two decades and 50+ countries. Long before Instagram, a British couple found my portfolio online and brought me from Latvia to Britain for their wedding; the pictures ended up on the 2009 cover of South Wales YOURWEDDING. That feature began with a bride named Sabrina, who searched for six months looking for the right photographer, found my portfolio online and, with her future husband, arranged the travel and accommodation to bring me to Britain. A four-year run with Playboy Latvia (about 25 issues) sharpened my control of light, pose and atmosphere. My commercial portfolio spans architecture, advertising, food, product, interiors, live events and corporate portraits, with clients such as Swedbank, Nike, Tele2, airBaltic, LMT and Rimi. A single Forbes USA assignment in 2024 developed into a series of five or more feature stories on investors, founders and billionaires. In 2026 I started ProPortfolio.pro, a platform linking photographers, videographers, models, actors, makeup artists, stylists, studios and other creative professionals. A lone frame of fireworks over Riga's Radio and TV Tower won a Latvian State Radio and Television Centre competition in 2004 and set the course for everything that followed. Couples are welcome too: wedding and destination wedding days get the full editorial attention.
