Facebook 有田焼のはじまり｜佐賀県有田 The Beginning of Porcelain Production｜Arita, Saga Prefecture   日本で初めて磁器が焼かれた産地として、400年以上の歴史を誇る佐賀県有田。   有田焼の誕生は17世紀始め、豊臣秀吉の時代です。 当時、中国や朝鮮半島からもたらされた白磁や青磁といった高級な器は、権力を示すものとして扱われていました。 さらに中国から喫茶の風習が入り、茶の湯が流行。 権力者や大名たちが茶の器としてのやきものを求めるようになります。   朝鮮出兵の際、佐賀藩主の鍋島直茂は多くの陶工を日本に連れて帰り、その中の一人であった李参平（りさんぺい）が、1616年に有田の泉山で磁器の原料となる陶石を発見。 そこから有田で産業としての磁器製造が始まりました。   Arita, Saga Prefecture, has a history of more than 400 years as the first place in Japan where porcelain was produced.   Arita porcelain was born in the early 17th century, during the reign of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. At that time, luxury products such as white porcelain and celadon brought from China and the Korean peninsula were regarded as a sign of power. Furthermore, the custom of the tea ceremony was introduced, and the tea ceremony became popular. Powerful people and feudal lords began to seek out porcelain for use as tea utensils.   Saga feudal lord Nabeshima Naomochige invite many potters to Japan, and one of them, Ri Sanpei, discovered the ceramic stone, the raw material for porcelain, at Mt. Izumi in Arita in 1616.
